Summer Camp Info

Schedule & Overview

Thank you for choosing The Kid’s Art Skool for your child’s Summer Art Camp! I am very excited for all the fun Art projects we have planned. Below you will find all the information you and your child need to attend the Camp.

  • Please arrive promptly and enter into the Art Studio.

  • If you are running more than 10 minutes late, please make sure to text me (443-310-4036)

  • Please send your child in clothing that can get dirty with various Art supplies.

  • Campers will work on ongoing projects throughout the week and they will end up with a nice collection of artwork/projects by the end of the week. Mix Art & Little Picasso Camps will be exploring all kinds of mediums and techniques to give your child a wide variety of project experience. Sewing & Kidstitchers Camps will be teaching the specialized skill by creating various projects that allow for lots of practice. All other Specialty Theme Camps will be creating a large variety of projects also that go along with the theme of the camp.

  • Full Day Campers will have a break from 12:00-1:00 for lunch and outside time.

  • Please send your child with the following: 

       1.  Lunch and a drink in a bag or lunchbox (half day camps do not need this)

       2.  Snack:  this needs to be something that can be EASILY eaten while working (nothing that requires utensils)

       3.  Extra drink/water bottle in case they get thirsty after outside time  **full day campers only!

       4.  Electronic device or quiet activity in case it's too hot outside for play ** full day campers only

  • Refrigeration is available for lunches and drinks. **NO NUT PRODUCTS in case of allergies**

  • Please make sure to LABEL ALL ITEMS with your child’s name

  • Students will be dismissed to the main entrance hallway waiting area. Please bear with us as end-of-camp clean-up sometimes takes longer than expected.

There will be cleaning of personal workspace items that are frequently touched, such as the table and art supplies. Each child will have some of their own supplies to work with and those supplies that are shared will be cleaned/sanitized before and after use.


Please note that the camp is at FULL capacity. Full camps will have a helper and we will be working hard to give your child a FUN, and awesome ART experience- this requires cooperation on all the students as well, so if there are any behavioral issues concerning your child, I will contact you directly.


Deposits and any additional payments are non-refundable 45 days prior to the start date of your assigned Camp.


Please let me know ASAP if there are any food/dietary, medical or physical activity restrictions.

Health Guidelines

Keeping the Studio Safe

The protocol for protecting yourself and others in our Art Studio workplace against COVID-19 is outlined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines. These are simple everyday practices that can be used both at home and in the workplace to protect against bacteria and viruses:

  • Have your child wash his/her hands frequently;

  • Masks are optional to be worn during class;

  • Cover coughs and sneezes with a tissue or the inside of elbow; and

  • Avoid touching his/her face.

 

In addition, frequent cleaning of personal workspace items that are frequently touched, such as the table and art supplies with cleaning spray or wipes.

  • Hand sanitizer will be available

  • Each child will have some of their own supplies to work from and shared supplies will be

cleaned/sanitized before and after use.

  • Parents will drop off inside of the Studio entrance and children will be dismissed to the waiting area in the entrance hallway only when a parent or approved guardian is visible.

  • PLEASE HAVE YOUR CHILD USE THE RESTROOM BEFORE COMING TO CAMP to keep bathroom visits to a minimum.

Household Risks Related to the Studio Workplace

If your child feels any signs of illness, is exhibiting possible symptoms, or has been diagnosed with coronavirus or a contagious illness, please let me know immediately.

Please be sure to complete the below form for each child you have attending camp.  ONE form per child.  Thank you!
